Please only create a new account if you haven't held a Rhode Island hunting or fishing license since 2018.

2025-2027 Boat/ATV/Snowmobile Registration Renewal Customers: Please follow the steps below to access your account to complete your registration online.
If you have your RIO Customer Number:

  1. Click on the “Search by Customer Number”  dropdown
  2. Enter your details:
    1. RIO Customer Number
    2. Date of Birth
    3. Zip Code (used on your vehicle registration)
  3. Click Submit and start the renewal process.
If You Need to Retrieve Your RIO Customer Number
  1. Complete the Access Request Form using the Applicant Number listed on your most recent registration card and/or renewal coupon.
  2. You will receive your RIO Customer Number via the email you provide in the request form.
  3. Use the steps above to access your RIO account and complete your renewal.
